1. aaron worked really hard the last 3 months of 08, and ended the year as being #2 in his company! and his district team ended #1 in the company. so that means we get to go on a trip with his district (for being #1) AND we get to take another trip with the top reps of his company. don't know where yet, but a free trip anywhere is good! i am so grateful for his job and his hard work, especially in this economy. we really feel like we are being taken care of right now.
2. because of his awesome ranking, aaron was able to get the biggest bonus in the whole company. so we are going to use a tiny bit, and take a family trip in april to the grand canyon. and thanks to his parents, we get to use a little timeshare time, so that means we don't have to pay for a hotel which = cheap vacation!
3. this last saturday, my dad, stepmom, and her parents from germany came over. we had a GREAT visit, and it was so nice to see them after so long. i made this special super-german cake called "beesting" cake, and it turned out kinda funny, but passed the taste test (phew!).
4. aaron and i had our first date on this day, and 10 years later, through the many ups and downs, we are still together, strong and loving eachother.

Wow, that is so awesome. Like you said, this economy is so scary it's so nice that our husbands have good jobs. Sounds like he is doing so great and working hard! Way to go Aaron!
