pumpkin patch

ok. i'm a week behind. so lets go back to last friday...
we went to the pumpkin patch. this has become one of my favorite family traditions. but we were a bit too late this year (we usually go the first week of october) and the pumpkins in the field were already half rotten. it doesn't help that it's been warm (mid 80's), and we just waited toooooooo long to go. oh well. so we chose some from the tables of already picked pumpkins. not as much fun, but still good.

after the pumpkin patch, we went up to this cool tiny town called Oak Glen. it has a bunch of apple orchards and some cute little shops. we usually go up there on a saturday and hike around. i decided to let the boys (and myself) have their first caramel apple. it was funny to see them try and eat through the caramel to get to the apple. it was a little overwhelming for hayden, so i did quite a bit of helping. it was a great family outing.

I love your hair, and the pumpkin patch is one of my favorite traditions too.

That looks like a great pumpkin patch! I hate carmel apples, but I'm sure the kids loved them!

Cute pictures, Happy Halloween!!
