the holes that the "giraffe" dug are multiplying. a new one shows up every few days. i asked our ups guy what was up with them. he said there are gopher-type things in the desert. i told him i didn't want to kill them or anything. he said that in spring, the snakes go in the holes and eat whatever is in there anyways. so that's nice, huh?
