just when we thought we were done

if it's not one thing, it's another. a few months ago, it looked like there was possible a leak from one of our sinks in our bathroom. but nothing happened, and a plummer couldn't find anything, so we just left it. BIG FAT MISTAKE!!! the other day, i was getting out some toilet paper from under my sink, and there was MOLD, and alot of it. so aaron decided to take a look, and sure enough, there was a leak dripping down the pipe behind the wall. so he pretty much had to get out everything out that had mold on it, which means the bottom of the cabinets, which ran along the entire bottom, and couldn't be just cut out and replaced. and since the pipes are behind the wall, he had to cut out a big section of drywall. AAAHHHHHHH! so that means that the cabinets had to be torn out, and the big mirror taken down. we thought about doing this a few times, but chose not to for many reasons. but now we had no choice. sooooooo, on friday night, aaron went to town and ripped out everything in about 2 hours. now we have to figure out what to do to replace it. plus we don't want to spend bucks on it. so i'm leaving tomorrow morning to go to seattle to find a place and aaron is going to have to figure out how to juggle the kids, retexture the wall, tiling, fixing the plumbing and what ever else. great timing, huh? but i am SUPER grateful that aaron knows how to do all this stuff, and we don't have to spend our life savings on someone else doing it. and he does a pretty good job too.
here are some pictures of after the demo. and some finished pictures of the kitchen. aaron and i finished the tilework last friday. at least that's done. wish me luck on finding somewhere! i'll be back on thursday night.

Did you get my email???
Oh your kitchen looks awsome, it makes me long for a house and enough money to make it look beautiful. And that totally sucks about your bathroom, which looks huge by the way. Good thing Aaron can fix it. I hope you find a good place to live, that part stressed me out when we were moving to MT. Love you rosie bug!

Wow, that does look like a big bathroom. I really hope it's not too hard to fix. I didn't realize you were going to Seattle by yourself. Good luck finding a place. At least you get to go and actually see some places. That will hopefully help, although I imagine you will still be stressed. Good luck!!
