spring break was last week. we went to Scottsdale for two great reasons.
#1- aaron did the Tour de Phoenix. he did a great job and shaved off about 20 minutes of his time from last year. he got a gold medal, which is awesome, and he came in around 230-ith out of 1,500 racers. it was only 72 miles (i say only because he has done a few 100 milers). i'm sure that next year he will do even better. it was the very first time i got to go to one of his races. they are either too far away, or things with the kids has kept us from going. it was really fun, and was exciting getting up before dark and taking him to the start and seeing alllll the other racers getting ready. it's pretty funny though- everybody sizes up each others bikes. it's like a fashion show. we had a great time and will be sure to go again next year.
the #2 great reason is we got to see my granny. we haven't seen her in about a year in a half (way too long) and it was SO good to see her. i will have to go through all the pictures and blog about that another time. we have a t-ball game today......

Aaron is SO tough!!! Way to go man! And Rose, you're a trooper to be up before the sun to see him off, especially with TWO active boys to run after! And I'm totally picturing everyone checking out each other's bikes....I'll take Aaron's when he's ready for a new one! Happy Birthday Brynne! :)
holy crap! Rose, that is so awesome!! what a winner, I am so proud! And I love all the pictures. I'm pretty jealous actually. I wish I could do that!
